This summer, we gather on the land.
Not because we need a holiday, but because we always have.
Across the African diaspora, gathering has always been a form of remembering. A way to return to ourselves and to one another. Around music. Around smoke rising from the grill. Around stories, laughter, and food passed from hand to hand.
On July 4th, Dounou Supper Club joins B-Omi Farms for a cookout rooted in diasporic connection, slowing down, and the simple joy of being together.
A field of our own with food, music, and people laughing loud.
Just us outside together, the way it’s supposed to be.
Set on a 28-acre Afro-Caribbean wellness farm in Wendell, North Carolina, this gathering invites you into a gentler rhythm, one grounded in land, community, music, and good food.
Expect open-fire cooking, dishes inspired by the African diaspora, music drifting through the fields, dancing when the spirit moves you, and the kind of atmosphere where nobody is in a rush to leave.
BYOB, bring your favorite wine or beer, bring your people, and come ready to settle in.
Because our people have always known how to make something beautiful out of being together.
This is a BYOB gathering; we invite you to bring your favorite bottle of wine or beer to share with others. No alcohol is sold or provided by B-Omi Farms. Your ticket covers the farm experience and dinner only.
